President Muhammadu Buhari has reportedly appointed Bashir Ahmad as his personal assistant on New Media.
This appointment which was confirmed by the appointee via his (Ahmad’s) official twitter handle, showed that the appointment took place some hours ago.
As at the time of filing this report, there was no official confirmation from the presidency on the latest appointment by President Buhari.
But Ahmad had been on the president’s media team prior to the time he announced the appointment on twitter.
He tweeted:
Pleased to announce that I have been appointed by President Muhammadu@MBuhari as his Personal Assistant on New Media.
